Hotel and restaurants were wonderful. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet. Pools were welcomed and wish we could have gotten a spa treatment but were already booked. Next time. The grounds are beautiful and I highly recommend staying here while in Berchtesgaden.

This spacious and modern hotel is in a fabulous location and fully deserves all the praise and acclaim it continues to receive. The Spa and pools are excellent; breakfast was lovely and plentiful, and our room super comfortable and with a magnificent view of the mountains. Highlights: swimming in the heated outdoor pool area during heavy rainfall, which was weirdly comforting, and also looking out and seeing The Eagle's Nest on top of a nearby mountain. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we return to the region.

Solo stay

They charged 120 Euros extra for a 3pm Checkput, even though the rooms were totally empty! I had checked in late at 2am & while Checking in they had said I could have a relaxed checkout. But the lady at the reception seemed to be racially discriminatory & very Rudely said 40 Euros per hour for late Checkout!
