Hotel Amber seems like a newly built hotel. the rooms are spacious and all amenities are very refreshing. you get a balcony as well with the room, so you have the flexibility to have some fresh air or to have a smoke (although the room itself is non-smoking). the staff there are quite friendly and treats you well with a smile on the face. the front desk would also try to accommodate your requests as much as possible. for example on the day of our check-in we reached the hotel by 9am but usually you won’t get to check in till 2pm. we were tired and wanted to refresh ourselves, rest a bit and start the vacation as soon as possible, so we asked if they could check us in soon. they asked us to give them 1 hour and got us into a room by 10.30. I guess we were lucky but they were helpful enough to consider my request. the are the hotel is in is also seemed a bit chilled. not too far away from the action but just enough to give you some breathing space away from the hustle and bustle of central Pattaya. breakfast buffet was nice and the set up of the pool and buffet area was cost and we liked it (although it’s a personal preference). overall the stay was super nice and we’d definitely book this property if we visit Pattaya again.
