The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size, clean, comfortable and well maintained. On first look, the location seemed a little gritty. But, there were solid security messages and once we found our way around, we able to avoid the areas that were less desirable. The included breakfast was also great!

We arrived after a long international trip early in the morning. The staff helped us store our bags and offered facilities to freshen up. We returned later in the day, bags in the room, and took advantage of the yoga equipment in the room to stretch and relax after the flight. The rooftop was lovely. We had to leave early the next day and Costas offered to take our breakfast. It was prepared with attention and care. Wonderful hosts. The area is also quirky and fun. Great part of Athens. Highly recommend!

We are so glad we chose the Alkima Hotel for our vacation to Athens! It was extremely close to everything which allowed us to walk to all the major sights we wanted to see. Although it is close to the center, it's in a less busy side street, making it quieter than other options. The rooftop pool and patio was beautiful, with stunning views of the Acropolis! We enjoyed breakfast on the patio each morning which was exceptionally presented, tasted fresh and traditional. It was a great way to start each morning. The rooms were cleaned immaculately each day and the staff were beyond helpful. We could not recommend this hotel more!

बहुत बढ़िया The room was great not sure I could say value for money though. Perhaps my fault as I wanted a place with a pool but it wasn’t heated and the weather was no longer hot in Athens.

Lovely hotel in a great part of town. Up a quiet street only one block away from bars and restaurants. The hotel is small and perfectly formed. The roof terrace is its best feature. Breakfast can be a bit haphazard and probably not good value. Rooms were advertised as having a balcony - be warned, you can just about have one person stand out there but there are very very small!! The rooms were nice. We had two rooms and paid the same price for both, but one room was considerably smaller than the other. Staff were nice if a little overly casual. Best features are the roof terrace with views of the acropolis, and the location. It’s probably a bit overpriced for what you get. I would consider staying again but not for as long.

When I saw our twin beds, I wasn’t sure what to think; it was an unusual platform side by side set up, very in keeping with a yoga style flat. The mattress was so comfortable though. The service and breakfast exceeded expectations.

Hotel owner was very informative and helpful. The rooftop pool should have a staffed bar, the bar is there but it's empty and unmanned. Great hotel though overall.

We only stayed one night but the staff was so kind and helpful. The hotel is hip and the room was very nice with everything we needed. It is located in a great neighborhood and close to walking to all the sites. Breakfast was delivered and delicious. We would stay here again.
