Effectivement efficient friendly service

I really appreciated the location, for example within walking distance of The Gugenheim. Additionally, as a solo traveller, I felt very safe. Other places I stayed in Spain were noisy but this hotel was quiet and peaceful.

Lovely clean rooms with great linen and nice bathroom. Very comfortable stay and walking distance to everywhere. Very quiet at night.

We came to the Hesperia after a long, 12-hour bus ride around the Portuguese and Spanish coasts. Our one night stay was to see the Bilbao Guggenheim Art Gallery. After the bus trip we were shagged and I think the helpful hotel manager took pity on two old fogies and upgraded us to a junior suite. It was very comfortable and well appointed and only a 300 metre walk to the Guggenheim. The furnishings were high quality modern and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was likewise very modern and well set out. The breakfast next morning was of the good quality buffet style provided in four and five star hotels these days. The staff were helpful almost to a fault. The only glitch was that we arrived on a Sjunay evening and the restaurant was the bar area with a very limited menu with one of the wait-staff bumbling around looking as though could have done a course in hospitality. Would we go back thisn hotel again? You betcha That’s if we get the opportunity for a two or three day stay to take a good look around Bilbao which in Spain’s industrial heartland.

The room we originally booked had a bad smell when we checked in and staff were kind enough to quickly find us a new room and give us a complimentary upgrade. After that, our stay was great. Our new room was clean and spacious, with a lovely view of the river. The location is convenient and walkable to the rest of the city. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was excellent in most areas. Central city location and very quiet. Staff was very helpful and professional. Good European breakfast with many options. Had a river view room which very nice/river view enhanced the room. Bed very comfortable. Two recommendations are to add conditioner to bathroom amenities and put safety skid strips in tub/shower to help prevent slipping. Definitely recommend this property and will stay here next visit.

A good hotel very well located for Guggenheim Gallery which is within sight just over the bridge.

Great location, easy access to everything. Staff were lovely, especially Rakel on reception, she was so helpful, friendly and pleasant. Clean rooms, bit minimalist and a bit tired in places, but very comfortable and very clean. Good breakfast, nice bar for a nightcap.
