The T Hotel is a training hotel, operated Hong Kong's the Hotel and Tourism Institute, under the Vocational Training Council, and if you know that, staying there can be fun. Fun how? Well, as a training hotel, service is provided by students, guided by instructors who are hospitality industry veterans. The students rotate through the hotel service functions (e.g. F&B, front desk, operations), and they travel in packs, delivering service, and observing instructors and classmates. If you arrive shortly after a rotation, you can anticipate service at novice levels, but mostly, it's amusing. Service levels are also highly variable. Imagine coming back to your room every day and playing a game in which you try to discover what housekeeping task has been forgotten. No towels today, ring the front desk. No slippers? Ring the front desk. And so on. Some students are clearly going to succeed in the industry; others need to overcome severe shyness. One observation: I used to live in Hong Kong, and until 10-15 years ago, it was a solidly English-speaking city (and Cantonese, of course). The city has pivoted hard to Mandarin, as a result of political events, and some of the students at the T Hotel clearly speak almost no English (some also seem afraid to try, but that can be overcome). Overall, large rooms, excellent value (if you're okay with student service), and Pokfulam is well-served by buses and minibuses, with Aberdeen close by.

Very quiet very nice view

Location and property are quiet, transportation was convenient for connecting to the city. The dinner was delicious, prices were amazing ! A very comfortable and fantastic place to stay for traveling !!

Perfect hotel! Staff were super nice. They even brought me chocolate midday to my room as a gift. This hotel is a gem in Hong Kong also with perfect views over the bay.

Will definitely stay here again. Love the quiet location away from the city center.

Staff are nice and frendly! We appreciate the complimentary snacks made by students particularly for Lunar New Year! Room cleaning service is great in general, except that bathroom floor with hairs is not always 100% cleaned.

As before, we chose the T Hotel for comfort away from the maddening crowds of HK and to experience good food. It did not disappoint.

Clean, professional, very friendly staff. Felt like an honoured guest rather than just another numbered customer.
