We came to stay just for the bed. The staff were amazing and generous. Very accommodating.
They organised tuktuk for Sigiriya Rock and Cave Temple and were willing to help in every possible way. Good food recommendations.
Sadly we didn't get time for the pool which looked so inviting

The place is very nice, friendly and staff are very helpful. My room have AC/Balconey and there is a large swimming pool.
Sri Lankan breakfast very tasty. Only problem is a bit out of the way however they do have bicycle you can use.
Overall, I am happy and feel safe at Freedom Village Hotel I would stay there again if I were to come back to Dambulla .

We loved this hotel! Set off the main road in Dambulla,it is a little oasis. Quiet, comfortable and the staff were amazing. The breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared daily. There are a bunch of resorts up the road that cater to tour groups and you are stuck in the middle of nowhere. Here you are a short 5 min walk to the main street and markets, restaurants etc.
This place is a hidden gem.

The room and shower are very basic but it was we needed for an overnight stay. The staff are extremely helpful and try and make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was amazing especially with the views.
The only thing is the room is right next to the restaurant and you can hear other guests and workers so it can be a bit loud.
