We loved this hotel. It is located in a neighborhood with lots of trees and by neighborhood gem restaurants filled with locals. Not a tourist spot and we loved that about the hotel.

The desk staff welcomed us with smiles, advice and gummy frogs. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. The garden restaurant was quiet and comfortable with a menu and chef that earned a Michelin award. The cozy bar was maned by a bartender who was clearly a Professional. Location was walking distance to Old Town, shopping and a historical German beer house. It’s called the Palace for a reason. 5 Star all the way.

This is truly a 5-star hotel. Check in and check out were smooth. Room was clean and service is above par. Fruit basket (strawberries were heavenly) and chocolates as welcome gifts and daily refill on mini-bar (good selection of drinks and a special beer from Stuttgart—for those beer aficionados) are nice, thoughtful touches. As we had a busy schedule while in Munich, we were not able to try the breakfast buffet but ordered breakfast room service, which was delivered on time and cooked to our liking. Location is in a nice, quiet area especially for those seeking peaceful refuge from the hustle, bustle of a city centre location. Overall, this hotel remains top of mind for us in case we visit Munich again.😊
