An excellent establishment with very friendly staff. A wonderful fresh breakfast with fruit, yogurt, cereal and full English breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms cleaned everyday. Great range our beers and wines at the bar and a excellent restaurant menu. Not a lot to do in, Eglingham, but I would stay there again. Use it for a base to tour from.

The inn is delightfully traditional, frequented by a mix of friendly locals and their dogs. No noise from the bar disturbed our sleep. The outstanding feature was the attention to detail of the management, in particular re breakfast - superb.

Everything was as we expected it to be, this was our 4th stay and the Tankerville Arms never fails to provide lovely rooms and staff and great food in lovely surroundings. Will definitely be back.

Lovely country pub, great food and very welcoming, our dogs were welcomed too. Great staff who couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely be back soon.

Had a really great 2 night stay. Room was lovely, so comfortable. It was a great period style - but still provided for today’s needs - great wi-if, large shower, plenty of sockets. Ellen looked after us really well and couldn’t do enough for us. As for the breakfast - superb! Great choices and didn’t need lunch!

Really friendly country pub and a great room. All the staff were great and and George the host even helped clear the car screen of ice, lovely chap. Would highly recommend to a quiet relaxing get away with great food. Excellent breakfast

The pub was very welcoming and made you feel at home. The Tankerville Arms is on the side of the road in a little village which is very quiet.
The food and service was excellent and very friendly staff.
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
We would highly recommend this hotel for a stay
