Central location. Attentive staff. Fixed an AC issue right away on a hot day. Will return.

Staff was excellent. Room was clean and very comfortable. Absolutely no complaints.

We only got one of the room at 5:30pm instead of 3pm when we checked in. We were being told that room was not ready. On the day of checking out, our room got locked at 11:45am which is before the official checkout time of 12 noon. Some of our luggages got locked inside the room. Moreover, there is always a long queue at the concierge. It takes long time when you need help. I tried to set a morning call for one of the morning. While we were told all set but the morning call didn’t come! Don’t rely on the morning call service. Staff are polite but service level is below standard.

Room wasn’t cleaned properly Tables weren’t wiped, sink wasn’t cleaned etc. Bed was made.

Good location and breakfast, but service needs improvement The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. The breakfast was one of the highlights — there were plenty of choices, and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the overall service experience was disappointing. The reception team did not seem very professional, which was surprising as they are the first point of contact for guests. I requested extra pillows several times but received no response until I had to speak with the manager. The manager was helpful and arranged a rooftop bar table, but this level of service should be expected without needing repeated requests. The housekeeping was also below expectations. My room was not cleaned, and I had to ask for towels. It felt like I had to request basic things throughout my stay. The hotel has great potential because of its location and facilities, but improvements in communication, housekeeping, and front desk service are needed. I would think carefully before booking again.

Wonderful hotel next to the main train station and close to cruise terminals. Also easy access to the canals and city scenery. Amsterdam is expensive so keep that in mind as you pay for the quick access. Rooms were updated and very clean, with attentive staff at the desk and for requesting extra items. A highly recommended hotel for your stay in Amsterdam.

Very clean and comfortable. The coffee maker in-room was a constant challenge but we dealt with it. Our view was of the railroad station and tracks (not so hot) but the others in our party had rooms overlooking the city which were excellent. The staff was awesome and couldn’t have been more helpful. The location can’t be beat being right there in the center of the action and adjacent to the Centraal Station. I would definitely stay here again without even looking at other options.

This was by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in my life, the service was second to none and the included breakfast was even better, the gym facilities were immaculate, the bed and room we stayed in were 5 star and the views from our room were breathtaking. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends and it’s where I will choose to stay the next time I visit Amsterdam.

The best part of the Doubletree is probably it's location. It's next to Amsterdam Centraal and really close to the Centrum area as well as to transit for exploring the city but still far enough away that its relatively quiet and not too noisy. Theres also an Albert Heijn just three doors down from the main entrance where you can go to grab good but cheap baked goods and pastries and decent sandwiches for budget breakfast and snacks if you want to save some money. The hotel is modern and clean, and the suite was a good size for a family for four, having and separate bedroom was good for privacy although the suites are all corner units and the main room is sharply triangular in shape which makes it harder to use all the space fully. Service was also good with the staff being responsible to requests. They did only give us three sets of towels for four people but extra towels and pillows were delivered directly to our room quickly upon request. We did have an issue during our stay where none of the TV channels worked on either of the two TV's in our room. This was reported to reception who noted it was an external IT issue that was being resolved but the TV's never worked during the four nights we stayed there and it was never rectified, that was the only real blemish during our stay.
