perfect for a couple nights while snowboarding at the ski hills nearby! the lovely lady, who i’m assuming is the owner, was just the sweetest lady. she was more than happy to help us sort out transportation around town and to the ski hill, make dinner reservations for us, and drive us to the shipping outlet to ship our bags to the airport. i would absolutely recommend, and i will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our short 3 night stay at West Coast Inn in March 2026. We came to Hakuba to see the mountains and the snow, and the weather cooperated!! Our host at West Coast was wonderful and gracious! We plan to come back next year!

शानदार Super stay, homely, friendly, helpful, good coffee, good selection of breakfast bits, the lady owner is a Jem, super accommodating, and Ly was great for lifts around town, would (and hope to) return in a heartbeat

The stay is modest and older but that’s totally fine! The host is so kind and helpful and the beds and bathrooms were clean! It’s def a place you can meet other travelers and is SO close to the train station!

The owner was super kind and friendly upon our arrival!
Unfortunately, the room and the bathroom were a bit dirty. As soon as we arrived in the room we found a dry eye contact on the floor. 😓

We loved our stay, clean & tidy room with a private ensuite. Host was lovely and helpful and an included continental breakfast was just what you needed to start the day
