Book this hotel! One of the most wonderful hotel experiences we’ve ever had. It’s in a perfect location, right off one of the most popular streets in Beijing with lots of food and shops, yet still feels incredibly private and serene. The rooftop terrace was beautiful and so quiet. The staff were incredibly helpful- they helped us call taxis, make reservations, and even packed a to go breakfast for us when we left early for our Great Wall excursion. The rooms are big and beautiful. 10/10 stay!

The lication is convenience to metro station and right at the night market. The staff was very friendly and willing to help.

The staff are so kind, considerate, and are always willing to help us. They always did their best to carry out our requests and make our stay better. There are a lot of amenities such as a free drink fridge, included breakfast, and included afternoon tea. highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been to 105 countries and I just don’t know where to start with this amazing hidden gem of a hotel and especially the staff. I’m still processing how wonderful and outstanding the staff of this hotel were to my friend and I. They made us feel so welcomed and booked all our rides and activities! This is a charming hotel with great ammenities including free afternoon tea with snacks and free breakfast. All were delicious. My room was very comfortable and it is very quiet depite being in a great location!

The staff at the hotel were exceptional! There were 4 main girls at the front desk. They brought us trays of late-night snack to our room even after we arrived back late past the snack time. They helped me find and book a spa, brought us our coffees, and on check out, even carried one of our luggages, walked us out to the Didi and loaded the luggage onto the car! The girls were always smiling and pleasant. We really appreciated their friendly service! The hotel is very convenient, right off of Nanluoguxiang Hutong. Even though it is next to this bustling Hutong, the hotel is extremely quiet. The room is clean. The only suggestion I have is if you go during warm/hot weather: tell the staff to tell the cleaning staff to keep the blinds closed during the day and to keep the AC running. The stairwell area has lots of windows, so it makes the upstairs room hot. We didn’t care for the view after first seeing it, but would rather be able to sleep without it being so hot!

Wonderful place to stay! The unique charm of the courtyard speaks for itself, and the cleanliness and comfort are absolutely impeccable. The tea lounge offers 24-hour free coffee and various drinks, and the complimentary afternoon tea includes freshly made noodles and wontons that will definitely fill you up, with a different variety of fruit every day. The service covers nearly everything—they helped with laundry, restaurant reservations, and calling taxis, and even assisted us in renting bicycles remotely. The dining spots they recommended were unique, lesser-known local gems rather than the usual overhyped social media hotspots. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive, and their English is excellent. Many foreigners stay here, and I bet they absolutely love this authentic, Beijing-style courtyard (Siheyuan). While some of the facilities and decor details naturally fall short of big luxury hotels—for instance, the TV internet connection lags , minor wear and tear on the wall sockets and floors, and the bathroom fixtures aren't the most advanced—guests who want to experience a historic property like this don't come for high-end renovations or luxury equipment in the first place. I would give it a 99 out of 100! (Saving that 1 point just to say "keep up the great work!" 👏)

Our stay here was wonderful! We had the privilege to visit Beijing in June of 2026 and stay at this boutique hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance (less than 1/2 a mile) from a metro entrance and centrally located on a market street. The staff was very kind and extremely attentive to our needs. We utilized their free laundry service as well as free breakfast, tea time, and cold beverages. Each day, the staff greeted us, and asked if we needed food, drinks, etc. The room we selected had a cozy, private balcony as well as high powered AC which was much appreciated in the middle of summer and a king sized bed. The room was clean and tidy and the facility was well kept. Upon our departure, the staff helped us call a Didi and walked us to the pick up location. Then, presented us with a parting gift, a tea set.

The place is sweet and unique, the staff is really nice and helpful.
