शानदार The Hotel is located in the centre of Balmaha to the East of Loch Lomand. A family run the hotel, resturant/ pub and shops opposite the public carpark. If you have a room booked there is an allocated parking bay for each room. Purpose built buildings split in to ensuite rooms , well decorated with modern fittings, comfortable bed, working TV, good Wifi, Coffee provided, but no luggage rack. Fan provided in warm July weather.
We had dinner in the pub resturant which was served promptly and was as decribed. We did not take breakfast as the quoted price seemed high. Overall a pleasent hotel, I would rate it as upper 3 star.

The location is great, right on the Loch and lots of nearby hill walks.
All the amenities are on your door step - village shop, bar & restaurant and coffee shop.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the main part of the Inn. Room was up stairs from the car park and in the building. The hall smelled and the room also had an odor that was not pleasant. The room was tidy and basic. Bathroom was updated and clean. Not what I was expecting - realized the images on the listing are of multiple properties. Staying in the Inn was convenient for the restaurant and breakfast - staff friendly and provided good service. Food was good. Nice access to Loch Lomond walk. Popular with local hikers. Would not stay again in rooms in the main building given the rate paid.

The food was excellent both at the pub/ restaurant and cafe and the staff were friendly. We have travelled a lot and I’ve never felt so mis-led about a property. The hotel has no access to the lake or the lovely grass yard in front of it. It is almost completely enclosed by a 6ft high fence with “no access” signs all over it that are pretty much what you are looking at. Also, there was no fridge or coffee maker (even tho they roast coffee on site!) in our room and the little store and cafe both closed at 6pm.

Beautiful property and great atmosphere. We stayed only one night but enjoyed our stay. The fan in the room may need to be updated, it didn’t work very well to blow air.

The room was lovely and in a beautiful setting. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and leave our bags with them at reception. We had a wonderful stay!

शानदार Absolutely perfect , cottage was beautiful clean everything we needed was there..staff very helpful...dinner and breakfast was lovely ...will definitely be back...got a in room massage from Ruth best massage ive had
