They must have recently converted to a nonsmoking establishment because it smelled of stale cigarettes.

While this was convenient in terms of midway to Niagara Falls/Buffalo, it wasn't worth it. There was 'powder' thrown in the hallway and I wasn't sure if it was for insects or deodorizing. (The smell was a cross between cat urine and cigarette smoke.) I was uncomfortable being barefoot in my room. What they call the 'kitchen' was dilapidated and dirty. There was a sign stating if you didn't clean up after your pet you would be evicted, but apparently, throwing garbage around the property is acceptable. The bed was OK, only two pillows, shower had good pressure, and I assume the towels were clean. Overall, disappointed. It could be a great location with a lot of work. It's not hard to weed or pick up garbage.

The breakfast room was flooded due to a broken ice maker that had a blanket under it trying to absorb the water, for a number of days. The sign on the hiway has an incorrect room price that has been that way for years. The property is under new ownership and is run down and typical of a certain group of owners, little to no money goes to maintenance. Some hotel staff lives in the rooms on the second floor, trash cans overflowing, staff constantly on their phones. I was almost run over by a man speeding out of the property after dropping off a maid, as i looked at him after jumping out of the way, he stopped his vehicle staring at me, then left, a near road rage situation. This is no place for children, location is on a dead end street with large apartment buildings on each side, avoid this hotel.

OK, I picked this hotel based on it's supposed location near the UB North Campus. By the crow flies, it might be 4 miles but it's in the middle of nowhere. It does have access to the Thruway and some amenities a couple of miles away, but nothing close. Biggest issues were an AC/Heating unit that, when running, had a loud whining sound. It was reported to the front desk but no one ever came to look at it during our 5 day stay. No one ever cleaned the room during our stay. The waste baskets were never emptied, the towels were never changed and the room was never serviced. In addition, the smoke detector had been taped over, a clear fire hazard and clearly a fire code violation (I have pictures if needed). The room was clearly marked with the door tag for cleaning but it never happened. The hallway carpet, for days, had some sort of powder spread on the carpet. Not sure if it was supposed to be a cleaner, pest control substance or something else. Exterior exit door on the side of the building was not lockable and had no keypad remaining for entry. It was potentially open to anyone in the neighborhood, which was a huge security risk. If we hadn't been only in town for a few days for a wedding, we would have relocated but I couldn't find anything else close on short notice. Probably the worst experience I've ever had booking online. I'll be a lot more selective in the future and I'm not sure I'll be relying on Expedia in the future after this fiasco.

Wasn’t clean

I arrived to check in and told to wait. Two others were waiting- one noticeably unhappy she had no room to freshen up in. NOT A GOOD SIGN. I left and came back and the associate could not get the room key to work, then when I asked to see the room, it was not cleaned yet. I decided to try to cancel my 3 days but of course I’m out of cancellation options and no hotel room! Seems to be a start up hotel with poor management. Not a good Buffalo experience! Expedia should do something about this listing.

No ice buckets. Grabbed ice with my cup. Half a roll of toilet paper for 2 night stay. No vending machines. Smoking going on in the non smoking rooms. But bed comfortable ac was cold. Shower was hot. And staff nice and helpful.

Small rooms; good for one to two people. Coffee and ice are available in the common sroom continental breakfast has been discontinued. Rooms do not have a small refrigerator this may be something that could be requested . I would definitely stay there again

Dirty lobby and dirty room. Smells like cigarettes even tho it’s non smoking
