Halich Port Hotel Review I was disappointed. I booked a room exclusively based on the Expedia website, which describes the room I selected as 'Sea View, Sea Facing' (see the picture shown on my booking confirmation). What I got instead was a full frontal view of a tall ugly building, with only a sliver of 'Sea View' on the far right (see picture of the actual view from my room). In my opinion, the discrepancy between the ad description and the truth is too broad. It's an exaggeration that borders on false advertising. The reality is that most rooms on that side of the hotel face a tall building across a noisy, busy street. A more honest description would have been something like 'Partial Sea View' depending on the floor/room. The picture in the website was probably taken from the top (9th) floor of the hotel. Any room below that level compromises the advertised view. My advice is that if the view from your room is an important factor then you should not rely on the advertised photos of the Csk Halich Port Hotel. Before you book a 'Sea View, Sea Facing' room you should do a reality check like this: go to Google Earth, enter the hotel address, and then go into the street view mode of Google Earth. See for yourself what the actual hotel surroundings are before you make a decision to book the room.

I really enjoy the stay for 2 weeks there I was everything as I expect and more everyone was very nice and welcoming I will stay again for sure next time really good place close to train bus and fery station

I chose this hotel because it had a parking lot. When I arrived, the staff told me the parking lot was full and I'd have to find another one. This wasn't good. The room wasn't small, and the breakfast was decent. However, since the hotel is located on the roadside, be aware that there will be traffic noise starting early in the morning. Overall, I'd say it's good.

From the moment we entered to when we left all staff were very helpful and the stay was enjoyable. Rooms were great and comfortable and we even got an upgrade courtesy of the hotel. The location is close to Galata Tower (around 5 minute walk uphill!) and all the usual tourist but far enough to have some peace in the evening.

Great location close to the Metro that can take you everywhere! Room was new and clean. Staff was friendly, they helped with anything we needed!
