Anyone who isn't sure which tour company to choose should take a look at my experience. My tour guide this time was Ryuu Ken (Little Liu), and he was absolutely wonderful! He is fluent in Japanese, English, and Chinese 👍 and is also extremely responsible! We had 1.5 hours at the Takayama Old Town and 2.5 hours at Shirakawa-go. I felt that 1.5 hours at Takayama Old Town was a bit short to fully enjoy it, but I still managed to eat everything I wanted to! The other members of the group were also of very high quality; the bus rides were super quiet, and everyone was extremely punctual. Based on my observations, there were foreigners, people from Hong Kong, and people from Taiwan! Our driver, Mr. Ishikawa, was also very skilled, and the bus was extremely clean with no strange odors or cigarette smoke. All in all, I highly recommend joining a guided day trip to Takayama.

Thanks to our guide Max, this tour was wonderful because we were able to visit Shirakawago, Takayama, and Gujo Hachiman—places I really wanted to see—all in just one day! It was so convenient to easily visit spots that would otherwise be a hassle to reach independently, and each region had its own unique atmosphere, making it a lot of fun to explore 😊 Anyone who loves nature and the countryside will be very satisfied with this tour! The guide was also friendly and gave great explanations, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Thanks to you, I made many wonderful memories 🥰 I would definitely love to use this tour again the next time I visit another destination. It was a well-planned and satisfying tour. The Shinhotaka Ropeway is divided into two sections. First, you take a small cable car to the second platform, and then transfer to a large ropeway to go up the mountain. The air and temperature at the summit are noticeably different, and there are exclusive goods and food for sale. The scenery is gorgeous, and staying for about an hour is just right. I truly recommend it! It should be even more beautiful to see the fall foliage or snow scenery in autumn and winter.

My My parents and I are enjoying this trip. We really liked the scenery and the lunch here. On the bus, I learned about the UNESCO Omicho-gassho-zukuri style village. I like listening to stories. Thank you, Team Leader Kana and the bus driver. Keep it up—make sure to keep offering day tours

We met at the Silver Clock in Nagoya Station, which was a very easy-to-find location! As a solo traveler, I was initially quite worried, but the tour guide spoke fluent Japanese, Mandarin, and English, and gave very clear instructions. We spent two hours at each of the two attractions, which felt like just enough time. There's no way around it, as the round trip from Nagoya takes almost five hours in total. However, having a dedicated car service is a must for solo travelers and those without a driver's license. The tour bus was clean and comfortable, and I was very satisfied overall. We returned to Nagoya Station around 6:30 PM that evening, and the timing was consistent with the itinerary description!

Cici was a great guide, she was fluent in 3 languages, she gave us freedom to follow her around or to explore by ourselves. Felt a bit rushed in gujo hachiman, but the rest felt we had much much spare time to explore. Going with a tour like these is way cheaper than going by yourself.
