चेंगदू लेशान बुद्ध और हुआंगलोंगक्सी प्राचीन शहर की पूरे दिन की ऐतिहासिक यात्रा

Our tour guide Ms Yang was very informative and detailed about our itinerary and where to meet on that day. Everything was well organised. The local tour guide in Leshan, Ms Lee, was very knowledgeable about Buddhism and had shared the culture of Buddhism with very interesting stories. With regards to the local tour at Leshan Ms Lee had explained to us the routes available and which ones we prefer to take so that's very good. The lunch provided was modest. Our time in Huanglongxi is just 1 hr which is just nice for us. We returned to Chengdu on time. Ms Yang even helped us get a taxi to a restaurant where we are supposed to meet our friends. A special thanks too to Mr Xu Eric who is the tour operator for organising a transport for us in the morning in order to join the tour as our hotel is out of the complimentary pick up radius.

A great experience from the pick up arrangements and the cleanliness of the bus to the quality of the tour guide and lunch. Reliable and efficient. Highly recommended!

The tour was worth it for the price and for driving the distance. But the hike at Leshan Buddha was incredibly hot and sweaty because of the intense heat this summer. The tour guide is quite a yapper and elaborated way more than was needed (from her own life to palm reading out of the blue) which I usually welcome but mayeb not while standing under the sun in 40°C heat. Time spent at the ancient village was insufficient, only an hour.

this is recommended for people who are into Buddhism. even when I'm not, I find this interesting. involved a bit of walking, I've clocked 17k steps for this trip. amazing when one up close to the Buddha head. currently the way down to the Buddha feet is closed. and the guide said that the ferries don't operate everyday. some elderly people had wanted to take the boat ride to see the statue from the water and not walk much. apparently this was not possible. and it was also not communicated to us when we booked. appreciated that the tour arranged for cab to bring us back to hotel.

Overall great experience and definitely worth visiting. A few things to note: (1) Pickup from hotel is earlier depending on where you are; mine was 6.10am (2) You'll arrive back at Chengdu ~6pm+ (3) No shopping stops whatsoever, so that's great

Really enjoyed the trip and the local guide was knowledgeable and good. What could have been better is an update in the itinerary and information in the klook info guide. The tickets for the second part of mountain behind The Giant Buddha is not covered in the price and not informed it was an option. But must say it is worth visiting. Overall, a good experience.

Generally an enjoyable day trip and expect a fair bit of walking required at LeShan Giant Buddha. Huanglongxi Ancient Town is also a nice place to visit but time allocated was too short (i.e. only an hour). P/s: There was a small hiccup during morning pickup from our hotel (person in-charge told us to wait at hotel lobby but driver was waiting along the road side).
