Highly educational and enjoyable tour, recommended. Easy to moderately difficult hiking, memorable photos. Malindo from Ooo Haa Adventure Tours was a very humorous guide & speaks fluent English. He fetched us from our hotel near Waterfront at 7.30am. [Btw, he can also pick up from airport but additional charge may apply. Can leave luggages in his van.] Our tour was flexible as the group only consists of 5 people. We didn’t manage to see any Proboscis monkey but we spotted many other wild life and plants. We even had a nibbling fish experience. Buffet lunch by only canteen was just edible. This Klook deal is cheaper than elsewhere, even after we include any additional tips for an additional one-way boat ride to skip return trip of a difficult trail (MYR50 for whole boat, can share) and for the guide as we liked his service. The additional boat ride brought us to coastal walks which we otherwise won’t explore via trails, so it’s worth. At low tide, take off shoes & wade to board boat.

मौसम बहुत खराब था, तूफान और बिजली चमक रही थी। हमें लगा कि हम इस यात्रा में जानवरों को नहीं देख पाएंगे। हालांकि, हमारे टूर गाइड, श्री हमदिनी, प्रोबोस्किस बंदर को कहाँ खोजना है, इस बारे में बहुत अनुभवी और जानकार हैं। चूंकि बारिश हो रही थी, वह हमें आश्रय में सुरक्षित रखते हुए जानवरों की तलाश में गए। एक बार जब उन्हें बंदर मिल गए, तो वह आए और हमें उस जगह पर ले गए। हम प्रोबोस्किस बंदरों के कुछ समूह, नर, मादा और किशोर बंदरों को देखने में कामयाब रहे। हमने दाढ़ी वाले सूअर और उड़ने वाले लेमूर को भी देखा। हमारे गाइड श्री हमदिनी के लिए अंगूठा ऊपर।

मिस्टर हमदानी हमारे गाइड थे और वह वाकई बहुत अच्छे थे। भारी बारिश और आने वाले तूफानों के कारण मौसम काफी खराब था। कृपया ध्यान दें कि जब ज्वार कम होता है, तो आपको नाव पर अपने जूते उतारने होंगे और घुटने/पिंडली तक गहरे पानी में कूदना होगा (आपकी ऊंचाई के आधार पर)। हमारे समूह ने पाकू ट्रेल पर ट्रेकिंग की और कृपया ध्यान दें कि यह सबसे आसान ट्रेल भी कुछ लोगों के लिए चुनौतीपूर्ण हो सकता है। हम एक पिट वाइपर, कनखजूरा, जंगली सुअर, सिल्वर लंगूर और यहां तक कि एक नर प्रोबोसिस बंदर को भी देख पाए। यदि आपको कभी पार्क या जेटी/गाँव में दोपहर का भोजन चुनने का विकल्प दिया जाए, तो गाँव को चुनें क्योंकि वहाँ का खाना स्वादिष्ट और शानदार था!

Una experiencia inolvidable en la Reserva Natural de Bako, en Malasia. Nuestro guía local, Mr. Hamdini, exguarda forestal del área y originario de un pueblo dentro de la reserva, fue simplemente excepcional: conocía cada rincón de la selva y podía identificar animales solo por sus sonidos. Durante el recorrido avistamos víboras, macacos, monos narigudos, lémures voladores, jabalíes salvajes y ardillas. El tour comenzó con un trayecto en barco hacia el parque, y al terminar, navegamos por la costa mientras nos explicaban la geografía y fauna del lugar. Cerramos el día en su pueblo, disfrutando de deliciosa comida local en un bar típico. Un día de ensueño, 100% recomendable para los amantes de la naturaleza. Eso sí, hace mucho calor: ¡id bien preparados!

the guide of our tour was the best! also we managed to see all the different type of monkeys, hiked in the forest and along the mangrove forest. was a great experience and the organisation was brilliant. really reccomend.

Upon reaching Bako Terminal, we were handed over to our guide, Mr Pujang , a very well informed & experienced guide. He was very focused on spotting silver leaf monkey, proboscis monkey & bearded pig. we were led on a quite challenging Paku trail, which was exciting. Then we got into a speedboat & headed back to HQ for lunch at canteen. Two thumbs up!! 👍👍

Local guide Din is very knowledgeable and knows where are the likely spots of the various animals. He is very passionate and put his best efforts to find the animals so that the participants have a memorable trip.

Bako National Park is a must visit when in Sarawak. the guides are fantastic and so knowledgeable, the location is excellent and got to see lots of wildlife including- proboscis monkey, silver leaf monkey, flying lemur, viper, bearded pig and green snake.

went during low season in Nov so there were only 2 of us. So the guide Bujang focused on the monkeys - probocis, silver leaf and macaque. we saw all of them as he knew where to find them. Needed to hike a bit - but there was no warning from klook as it was slippery n I fell once. Overall a good experience
