Phenomenal trip to Nikko. Our travel guide Tina was great. She was very informative and provided a lot of information on heritage and food. The itinerary was exceptional, and the places that we visited were beautiful. Tina was good at keeping order and ensuring that everyone was on time. This kept things moving seamlessly and ensured that we stayed on track. Very happy with our tour, and we'll definitely do it again.

यह एक दिवसीय टूर बहुत ही शानदार था, मैंने और मेरे परिवार ने इसका पूरा आनंद लिया। हमारी गाइड सोफी बहुत अच्छी थीं, जो बहुत ही ध्यान रखने वाली, धैर्यवान और सुनियोजित थीं। उन्होंने日光東照宮 (निक्को तोशो-गु) और जापानी संस्कृति का परिचय बहुत ही हास्य और विनोदपूर्ण तरीके से दिया, जिससे अंग्रेजी और चीनी दोनों ही भाषाओं में उनके द्वारा दी गई जानकारी उतनी ही दिलचस्प लगी। हमने जितनी भी जगहों पर भ्रमण किया, वे सभी बेहद खूबसूरत थीं। यह यात्रा हमारे पूरे परिवार के लिए सबसे यादगार अनुभव बन गई! इसकी पूरी तरह से सिफारिश की जाती है!

Gita ben organizzata. Tappe correttamente tarate in termini di tempo, spiegazioni molto chiare ed esaustive da parte della nostra guida Tina, che è stata sempre molto gentile e premurosa. Da segnalare solo un iniziale problema con l'autobus, che ha avuto un inconveniente tecnico, ma prontamente risolto dalla compagnia che nel giro di 1 ora ha messo a disposizione un nuovo mezzo permettendo la buona riuscita della gita. Per quanto riguarda l'escursione alle Kegon Falls: attenzione alla stagione, perché nel periodo post invernale, prima quindi delle piogge di giugno e luglio, la cascata potrebbe avere poca acqua. Tour altamente consigliato.

Amazing itinerary and perfect weather! What a beautiful day, the guide spoke English for us and he was very knowledgeable and funny, helping us get over the boredom of the bus ride there and back (which got delayed due to traffic and incidents on the highway, but we made it back to Tokyo alright). We got bathroom breaks on the way there and back at service stations, and Jeff - our guide - also told us about any toilets nearby in case we needed it! Overall, an amazing experience in a wonderful setting. I highly recommend this tour if you want to visit Nikko, the shrine, waterfalls and lake!

Enjoyed the overall trip today! The trip itinerary was as per what was described and the time given for each place is well planned and sufficient. Our guide Vicki provided us with a lot of knowledge and recommendations to the places that we can visit and restaurants we can eat at. Owing much to the perfect weather today, the photos also came out really well. At the end of our trip, we were also pleasantly surprised by the free souvenir of a Castella cake. Will definitely recommend this trip to everyone.

A great day away from the city! Our tour guide Sheila was funny and insightful whilst ensuring we kept the day punctual and running smoothly. She gave interesting explanations about each place we visited which added to the appreciation of the destination. The Nikko shrine is one of the most beautifully detailed shrines I’ve ever seen, the photos truly don’t do it justice, you’ll have to go see it for yourself. At the waterfall we were able to see monkeys, and followed by a lunch trying yuba udon (the towns specialty (at my own expense)) and a walk around the lake as the sun was getting low on the horizon was amazing. Even though it’s a bit of a long drive, the bus is very comfy and the views from the windows make it worth it. The hair pin road down the mountain is an experience!

Nice day outside Tokyo, the Nikko Toshogu Temple is amazing and our guide gave us a lot of information about the history and symbolism of all the carvings. Also the waterfall and the lake are lovely places. Very nice tour guide. Strongly recommend.

Visiting Nikko was truly memorable! our guide Jeff spoke English well and explained many details especially about the temple. The Kegon Waterfall and Chuzenji Lake were both just magnificent. Our only wish is that we could spend more time here; it was truly worth visiting and would want to visit again in the future.

This was such a relaxing and beautiful day after all the walking and hustle bustle of Tokyo. The scenery was beautiful during the ride. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained a lot about all the sights. There was enough time in all the sights. She recommended the lemon ice cream and the fresh trout fish at the Kegon waterfalls and I'm so glad I had both! You must do this day trip to Nikko with Ontabi tours, if you want a beautiful day out of the city. Must I add, the driver drove so safe and so well, inspite of the challenging drive up and down those insane hairpin bends. Ontabi Tours, you definitely need to pay a good salary to your drivers and guides! 😊
