For someone who’s interested in wine culture, just try it. You get to know different types of grapes originally from Cappadocia and other parts of Turkey. Also Beyza will introduce the wine history of Turkey, which I’m glad to know. After this, just wander in the Avanos is also good!

Our wine tasting experience in Avanos turned out to be far more than just sipping different wines—it felt like an intimate cultural exchange. We tried over 20 varieties, ranging from crisp whites and delicate rosés to bold local reds, each with its own character and story. The wines were surprisingly diverse, and we loved discovering how volcanic soil and ancient traditions shape Cappadocia’s unique flavor profiles.
