Easy purchase for tickets to permanent exhibition at Peranakan Museum. An enjoyable experience learning about the Peranakan culture in Singapore. Joyce, a volunteer guide was very informative and shared some of her childhood experiences from her peranakan culture during the free guided tour. Clean toilet facilities and lift access to all floors.

Very small & niche museum, regarding the culture of how immigrant communities such as the Chinese, incorporate other cultures into their way of life. Ticket was very easy to use. A ticket with a QR code is sent to you. All you need to do is show the staff, they will scan it and will give you a sticker you can put on your clothing to show you have paid for a ticket.

The Peranakan Museum is a beautiful and meaningful place to visit in Singapore. It shows the rich culture, history, and traditions of the Peranakan community through clothing, jewelry, ceramics, furniture, and old photographs. The exhibits are well-arranged and easy to understand, making it interesting even for first-time visitors. I liked how the museum explains the mix of Chinese, Malay, Indian, and European influences in Peranakan life. The building itself is also elegant and peaceful. Overall, the Peranakan Museum is worth visiting because it helps you appreciate Singapore’s multicultural heritage in a simple, educational, and enjoyable way.
