great day out the guide was so knowledgeable told us lots of interesting things and showed use what vegetation was edible etc.

Disapointing and deceiving : we specifically chose that « hit the trail » tour (and exchanged messages with the tour company to make sure what we would eventually get) because we love nature and absolutely did NOT want to end up in Cameron Highlands tourists traps such as the « butterflies farm » or « strawberry farm ». Which is were we ended up spending the afternoon after all. It turned out we were the only ones to have booked this specific tour for that day, so they just put us in a group that was doing a « classic » Cameron tour (which had the same stops as ours in the morning, but absolutely NOT in the afternoon ). And we were informed only once we were already in the car (they had messaged us the previous day about earlier pick up time than announced, but nothing about the content of the tour not going to be what we had bought ). Their excuse was the rainy season (so why didn’t they tell us earlier ? We would have cancelled . Plus, no rain on that day …). Fortunately, we had a good jungle hike the following morning (organised by our hotel) but of course we do not recommand that tour and company. Unfortunately, this is quite common practice in Cameron Highlands from what I read in other agencies’ reviews.
