This should be a tour that every visitor to Japan sees. It was heartwrenchingly sad. The comprehensive information and graphic details was confronting. The presentation was exceptional, it was well laid out and easily followed through the passage of the event. As sad as it was I would highly recommend it.

My second visit to this museum. Good thing I got this pass through Klook, so I did not line up (always a long queue) to get the ticket. This time, I was able to enjoy the museum (yes full of tourists) because I got a translator and just paid hmm not sure if 300 yen. So, I recommend this too.

this is a really great place to educate yourself about Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, be prepared because for sure there will be lots of emotions during you are doing the tour.

Magnifique musée, plein d'émotion ! Muséologie superbe. Prendre un audio-guide est vraiment une plus value. Venir tôt aussi, car le musée se remplit vite, c'est très chouette de l'avoir pour sois, dans le calme, la première heure. À faire sans hésitation !

This was a very thoughtfully designed museum, for such a sobering topic. If you can go early, do so, there are crowds (we entered at 11am). there are coin lockers on the ground floor to store bags - the coin is returned on retrieval). Pre-booking makes it easier as you don't have to line up and can scan the code at the entry gates. The museum artefacts and presentation - film, audio, exhibits - has been very well done. Quite an emotional place acknowledging loss, and with a strong message for peace in the future.

Could not believe the price considering how informative and touching this museum was. I thought the museum captured the actual scale of the destruction very well and the strength of the community to rebuild after something so tragic. It’s something everyone should see if they have the opportunity to, truely eye opening and so touching.

An exceptional memorial to this heartbreaking event. The park was beautifully laid out with several memorials to different groups.
