En dessous de la moyenne I hate to say this as the location is 10/10 and the staff are so lovely.
Unfortunately the room I stayed in was quite dirty…I arrived after hours and was only there to sleep so did not ask to be moved therefore they didn’t have a chance to rectify the issue which I take responsibility for. However I’m not sure if any other rooms would’ve been much better as the main issue was the carpet which needs to be replaced. Just filthy and stained and the whole room smelled like dirty/damp carpet. Hallway carpet - not any better. Bring sandals or slippers. There was also quite a bit of dust in the room/around the headboard and just generally a clear lack of attention to detail in regards to cleanliness. I understand this isn’t luxury accommodation but for almost $200 a night you’d expect better in terms of hygiene and presentation.
The bed was comfortable, shared areas were fine and it was quite handy to have a little kitchenette available. There is minimal soundproofing which wasn’t an issue for me personally but if you’re a light sleeper you may need earplugs or white noise.
I could see myself having loved this place in my younger backpacking days but unfortunately I feel a bit let down - I wish I had spent a tiny bit more for a nicer place.

The place is very well maintained and super clean including the shared bathrooms. Easy walking distance to Bondi Junction (14 minutes) and Bondi Beach (20 minutes). Reasonable cafes and places the eat also within easy walking distance too. Highly recommended.

The mattress on the bed I slept on needs to be replaced please. It provided me with very little back support. I kept waking up during the night as I was uncomfortable.
Also when booking it needs to be made clear when the booked room involves a significant “climb" to get to the floor it is on. The elderly or less mobile guest would have found it very difficult, or have been unable to manage the stairs. This would be an especially important issue if the guest was staying a number of nights.
Apart from this I had a fairly enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Great location. Lovely staff. Very modern and clean, very useful communal kitchen area. The rooms are small, but this is reflected in the price. Good value for money.

Our first room was a little disappointing but the staff moved us to a much better room, which was more comfortable and quiet.
The bed was super comfortable with nice soft soft bedding.
The shared kitchen is a nice place to chill with a coffee watching tv.
