En dessous de la moyenne I am not sure who was responsible for the photos and description of the hotel, but it was certainly not what we were expecting. From the website it appeared that there was an onsen in each room as it was listed as a "room amenity" it turned out that the only room that had this room amenity was the penthouse. When we arrived and checked in the room was lovely. However, there were many issues after. Apparently, we were the only ones at the hotel. The room did not have an onsen... ok, fine we will use the hotels onsen... nope it was closed. but we could use one at another one of their properties. No thanks, I don't want to travel 10-15 minutes to another property to be cold and wet. Ok, let's have a bite to eat and cocktails. Sir when does the bar open? It's not, but there is one 10-15 minutes away. We walked to the convivence store (10-minute walk) got some supplies and returned to our lovely room (with parking lot view) My husband requested ice but was told he could go buy some at the convivence store. We were booked for 4 days after the 1st day we decided over our outrageously overpriced Indian take out (the only place open) that it was best just to cut our losses and go to Otaru in the morning. Of our 20 days in Japan this was the worst. Either close the hotel or advise that "green season" everything shuts down. There were zero amenities. It was expensive lesson, but we had a great time in Otaru and only wasted one day of our vacation.

Extremely accommodating staff delivering responsive and friendly services via WhatsApp throughout our stay. The room and amenities such as the restaurant, hot spring are world-class! We really enjoyed all cutting edge smart features in our rooms and quality of the toiletry, mattress, pillows etc. It’s truly a solid choice beyond what the photo shows.

Check in process was easy , staff are always helpful. Would stay again . Onsen was lovely. Short walk to town centre or staff offer to drive you. Really loved this place . Breakfast was amazing. Thank you

From the time of booking, the service at Intuition has been phenomenal. We are English speaking but communication has never been a problem. The staff organised as much or as little as we liked. In our case they organised the hire car, restaurant bookings and chaffeured us to these places.
We stayed at the 4 bedroom apartment which was well and truly worth the money for the beautiful views and comfort. The fire place, private onsen looking at Mt Yotei and wall to wall windows were my personal favourite. The kitchen is huge and has so many appliances including wine coolers. There were four bathrooms and toilets which were made from high quality products. In fact, the entire place seems to have high end and high quality products everywhere. The beds was so soft and quilt felt like a cloud. There is a large coat room and generous storage throughout.
We didn’t come up for the ski season but we were so lucky to have some of the early snow fall which made the place feel like a winter wonderland. There is a lot of other local farms and food production places we visited as well as day trips to other places.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would for comfort, affordable luxury, attentive service and the beautiful views.
I want to come back to Japan so I can come and stay at this property in beautiful Hokkaido again!

Such a beautiful place to stay. Love everything about this property except that the service was not up to par. Staff was not adequate. They also did not have the cake which I ordered in advance but made it up by getting one last min for my husband’s surprise. No housekeeping service here. They should at least offer daily throwing of trash in the room instead of every 2 days.
