What a brilliant pub/hotel! Will stay again.
Such a lovely hotel with views by the river. Room was spacious, lots of interesting pictures, wonderful food and very polite, helpful staff. Convenient parking. Loved the spiral staircase with over hanging wisteria!

I had a lovely stay here for a few nights while solo traveling. The room was beautiful, and the property was fantastic. The only small drawback for me was I’m not sure if the AC worked in my room, and as an American, I need that cool air. Fortunately for me, it was cool outside and I was able to open the window enough making my stay comfortable. I had dinner at the pub, and that was lovely as well. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Exeter stay here. I did walk to the hotel from the train station and it’s not too bad of a walk, and the sidewalk was wide and flat the whole way.

Fantastique Beautiful location on the river. Lots of outdoor seating. Nice bar and restaurant. Room was nice, but air wasn’t working and no one could fix it. It was very warm for a while, but cooled off at night. They brought us a fan.

Fantastique Spotless room with fabulous heating- temperature outside was -1* overnight, our room was toasty! View was gorgeous as were the bed, shower and all other facilities.
Staff were friendly and helpful, food was good.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.
