Great hotel in a great spot.

The location of the hotel was fantastic and very convenient for getting around. However, the cleanliness of the breakfast area was disappointing. We arrived when breakfast service opened, yet the carpet looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed from the night before, which did not create a great first impression. The room itself was okay comfortable enough for a short stay, but nothing particularly excited about. Overall, the excellent location was the highlight, but improvements in housekeeping and presentation of the common areas would enhance the guest experience. The staff was amazing from checkin to when our aircon heater was not working. They were prompt in assisting in fixing the situation.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to an apartment and room was comfortable for the 2 of us. Our room was facing east and there is a club across the road which became very noisy and music didnt stop until around 2am. Breakfast was ok

Our 2 night stay at the Avenue was wonderful. We booked this hotel and added breakfast which was tasty and had a lot of options. The rooms are spacious with great decor. The bed was so comfortable we slept both nights without waking up because the the comfy bed and zero noise outside. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful stylish hotel conveniently located in downtown Canberra near Northbourne and Mort Streets. Good size room with balcony and nice areas to lounge in. Lovely helpful staff.

Fantastic place to stay highly recommended

The hotel is extremely well located, but what I liked most is how friendly and helpful the staff are. It's also relatively affordable, well-maintained, and the rooms are kept spotless. As someone who lives online, I also appreciated the speedy and free internet. I visit Canberra periodically and this is now my first choice of hotel.
