The fact that the room doesn't have a window was a huge deal breaker for me. (It does but it opens to inside of the building so it is hard to tell if it is night or day. The lights must be on at all times see around) Other than that, good breakfast, great terrace view, great restaurants around, friendly staff.

Centrally placed, The Historical Göreme House is very convenient for tours, and city walks. The staff are very warm and friendly. It offers breakfast only, but with numerous restaurants in close proximity, this is not too much of a drawback. Breakfast has the basics, and a minimal selection of cereals, pastries, jams and honey. There is also a minimal selection of hot food, but while what’s on offer is basic, it will sustain you on your tours and walks. The variety also caters for vegetarian pallet. Our room was pretty and clean, though the bed was a little hard. There were two wardrobes, but only a few hangers available. There was a bar sized refrigerator and comfortable armchairs. A double sized jacuzzi bath was in the bathroom.

The building itself is very pretty, super central and once you found it easy to get to . ( finding it was tricky even with Google!) Our room was okay. Very small , a bit musty and on the fairly noisy stairwell. The viewing deck above the breakfast room was great. The thing that stood out most was the staff. They were all lovely and super helpful. We enjoyed our stay more because of them.

The best hotel ever!!

Perfect location if you want to watch hot air balloon at the rooftop. Walking distance to the city and most of the restaurants. Service is topnotch, shout out to Mehmet!

I had the most wonderful stay at Historical Goreme House! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made the experience unforgettable. The rooms are full of charm, blending comfort with the authentic cave style architecture that makes Cappadocia so special. Everything was spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. One of the highlights was waking up to the breathtaking views, the terrace offers a magical panorama of Göreme, especially at sunrise when hot air balloons float across the sky. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime sight. Breakfast was another delight, fresh, delicious, and it really set the tone for the day. The staff were always ready to share helpful tips for exploring the area and made sure every detail of my stay was perfect. I can’t recommend Historical Goreme House enough. If you want an authentic Cappadocia experience with incredible hospitality and stunning views, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back

I wish I had a window

wonderful stay at historical goreme house! we stayed here for a week, the royal suite room we stayed in was clean and breathtaking. The staff were incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, helping out with carrying our luggage to and from the car, they were also really imformative about the surrounding areas and what activities to do, in a friendly and polite manner. the breakfast was delicious that was provided. would 100% return to this hotel. Thank you for an unforgettable experience:)

Accessibility to all restaurants and shops. Quiet neighborhood. The best view to watch the cave hotels and hot air balloons from the rooftop of the hotel. Staff are exceptionally knowledgeable, accommodating and goes above and beyond to please clients. Variety of choices for breakfast too
