This gem of a hotel is right by the Colosseum and Roman Forum but doesn’t feel touristy. Lots of quality restaurants nearby, from small take away pizza to Michelin star Aroma. We were never disappointed. Our room was lovely on the first floor. We never heard street noises and just a little bit of hallway sounds. The morning breakfast was a nice treat to start the day in a quaint basement area. We loved all the art, mosaic tiles in the flooring, and helpful staff. Only thing of note is that you cannot control the air conditioning from the room, which some days we wished we could from being out in the hot weather all day.
