Such a great place to stay! Everything was so well maintained & the staff was so kind & helpful & accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel was excellent. Very clean, the owner, Michael couldn't have been a nicer person. Always asking if we needed anything. We spent a few evenings sitting on the porch, relaxing and talking with him and Kevin. Two really great guys. The hotel is family oriented. Finally, if you don't stay there, you're missing out on a great opportunity.

From the lobby to our room itself, the hotel was very clean and the inside had all been updated. We got a King Bed Room (Rm14) and it was very spacious with a large closet, a mini-fridge, and a microwave in it. The bathroom was on the small side but very clean and met our needs. The bathroom had a standing shower only, no bath-tub. The pool yard is small but convenient and clean. Michael is the new owner and he was very helpful and nice to talk with. We arrived earlier than check-in time and he was happy to accommodate us and let us get in our room early. There is a Keurig in the lobby that you can use for your morning coffee or there is Holiday Coffee shop or OC Island Cafe within a block walk from the hotel. I'd highly recommend both of these options. I think the only semi-negative comment I would have would be the rooms are a little echo-y since they have high ceilings and hard wood floors but that's not really a negative. If you're looking for a well-priced stay for a long weekend at the shore, I would highly recommend The Cove!

Very convenient location, staff was very helpful and friendly, overall very clean. We didn’t use the pool due to weather but looked very nice. Easy, free parking is always a plus! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it if you are looking for a simple, no frills place.
