Great hotel/hostel linked to a cafe, shop and cinema. The hotel was great overall, but by comparison to the rest of the facilities, the room felt a touch basic, if perfectly comfortableand spotlessly clean.
Great location in Karatsu, within a 5 minute walk to the train station and on a great pedestrianised street full of great shops (mainly with pottery goods).
Would totally recommend.

If you’re looking for a clean, safe and well maintained accommodation. This is it. The area around it doesn’t have much to offer during the evening. It’s in an expensive shopping area and a stores in close up early.
It is close to the train station.
I didn’t really enjoy it because it seems mostly functional as opposed to warm and welcoming, but it certainly was convenient.

A super convenient location near the station, shops, and restaurants. The room was clean, stylish, and spacious. When I travel to Karatsu again, Karae will be my number one hotel choice for sure.

Convenient location - a few blocks from the JR station, a few blocks from the bus station and a lot of restaurants around the area. It seems very new, it's very clean. Good wifi.
