I stayed at the hotel for two nights on hot days. When I went into the hotel, I saw a big fan at the reception. The air con was not working in the whole building. My room was not that hot but not cold enough. I tried to open the window, but two of the three hinges were broken. So I asked the reception to change the room. He quickly prepared another room for me. But it was on the top floor. I could open the window fully but it was so so so hot. They gave me two fans. But it was still too hot...
Another thing is the lift. It's only available from 1st floor. There's no lift available on the ground floor... And it's very small and very slow. A small lift is quite normal in Paris though.
It's not worth 150 British Pounds per night.

While the location is great (for taking public transportation and visiting Paris), the staff was excellent, and the beds were made, sheets clean— there was mold on the walls, curtains and bathroom tiles which made the room unhealthy, unsanitary and potentially dangerous for respiratory and skin conditions.

This hotel was not what we expected based on advertising photos. The photos are very misleading and not anywhere close to what our room looked like. We had a tiny little room that overlooked a square of building walls, it was loud and noisy all night long. Pigeons were right outside the room and probably would have come in if we opened the window. The room was very bare, the bed hard and uncomfortable, the shower looked like it had mold, and the whole place just felt dirty and dingy. Our only interaction with the staff was check in & out, which was fine but they were not very friendly or helpful. The only perk of this hotel is proximity to the train station, otherwise, I would highly recommend staying somewhere else.

We checked in and were assigned the wrong rooms. I was to be charged tax for 4 nights until I corrected that we were there for one night. There were cockroaches on the lift door and there was no ventilation in the room.
The toilet was flush against the wall so you need to sit sideways.

Fantastique Front desk staff was very helpful with both my luggage and suggesting a better room that would be more convenient for me. The area is right by St Lazar, which means perfect access to all parts of Paris. I would definitely stay here again
