We had a pleasant stay overall, but for a hotel that markets itself as a luxury property, there are several areas that need improvement.
The biggest disappointment was the pool area. There are very few sun loungers and limited space to relax. The hotel is also very family-oriented, with many children using the pool throughout the day. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, this may not be the best choice. There was constant noise, with children jumping into the pool and shouting.
The arrival experience was also below expectations for a luxury hotel. At check-in, we were not given any information about the property. No one explained the pool hours, how the restaurants worked, or offered recommendations for things to do in Barcelona during our stay. A more personalized welcome would have made a significant difference and is something I would expect from a luxury hotel.
On a positive note, the room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. We have no complaints regarding the cleanliness or the room itself.
Overall, while the hotel is comfortable, it falls short of delivering the personalized service and relaxing atmosphere expected from a true luxury hotel.
