Yo first it was Never@home was my spot for staying when in Cape for comfort/price. Now its 91Loop, for same reasons except they have better dine in option which is the bar food area in the lobby. The food they serve there is ABOVE par for a hostel! EXCELLENT!! Location is perfect their entire staff is on point!

I could not comment about the room of the hostel itself much, as I was lucky enough to have an upgrade to the apartment nearby, which was superb with large bed, big kitchen and roof top swimming pool. Very friendly hostel reception staff. Luggage storage was available before check in. Amazing breakfast in Side Bar of the hostel.

I had lots of bug bites staying 2 nights at the hostel. Please avoid this place as much as possible. The main reasons are below. 1. Construction site right across the street, very noisy during the day. 2. No kitchen to cook food 3. Majority of rooms are very hot despite outside temperature was just 20-25 Celsius. And no A/C in the room I was staying. 4. Shower room has no hook or rack to hang clothes and put shampoo on. Very inconvenient. 5. Too many people staying here finish their parties after midnight. If you don’t mind, go for it.

Dirty bed

Clean room, restaurant inside the hotel food was delicious, they cleaned the room every day and staff was friendly.

It was a good size room for a private room and bathroom. Joshua, was friendly and helpful. The room has no AC but a fan was provided which was fine. The problem was the room was at the corner of Loop and Longmarket Street and you won’t be able to sleep because of the noise. There were constantly loud noises, all day and all night long. We asked if we could be moved but there were no private rooms available. 91 Loop has a great location.

Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Good location, I would highly recommend this place.

Nice place, nice location. Incredibly, no lift (you habe to carry your luggage through the stairs, no air conditioning (It was summer and difficult to sleep with a plain fun running). The staff was 10/10.

The place is very secure, I stayed in the sixth pod bedroom. There is no AC the only downfall, but there is one large fan. It’s more of a relaxed, safe vibe opposed to the other hostels in the area are more lively and for the talkative younger crowd.

Food is EXCELLENT way better than NeveratHome food especially Greenpoint. Service was impeccable at the bar! 1st timer and definitely will return. Rooms cleaned daily. LOVED IT!!!!!
