We booked two family rooms with balconies and they charged me for two of these rooms. When we got to the rooms, only one was a family room with a balcony. The other one was a very small two room person. I went back downstairs and they said they only have one family room with balcony, even though I had reserved them months in advance. They finally gave me a small credit back. The only thing wanna approve about this hotel was the breakfast! It was absolutely delicious. There was a dirty towel in our room whenever we arrived and also the air conditioner did not work in one of the rooms.

Be aware that this is a smoking hotel. Somehow I missed noticing that when I booked. While having a balcony is great in a downtown city hotel if your neighbour smokes you will have no fresh air as there is no a/c and smoke will blow into your room if you have the door open which is necessary when it's hot out. The property has no ice machine or ice available which I found strange since it is not a super low budget hotel but I suppose ice is not really a normal thing in Germany. Good points are that the rooms have a bathtub, a tiny fridge, the staff were all very friendly, efficient and helpful and the location is close to the main downtown sites and shopping zone. There's a Lidl a couple or minutes away for water and snacks. Our room was very quiet at night.

The room was hot with no way to control temperature. The staff was minimally adequate and at times seemed as if I was irritating them. I disliked all of the construction. It was overpriced for the quality.

Good hotel if you don’t require a shower, or use of a toilet/sink. No water and the staff resolution is to come down 7 floors to the lobby bathroom.

Hotel is in a great location, easy to walk to many location including trains and tours.

First Wifi was not working, they managed to fix. One morning no water in my room. Can not take a shower. When I returned that evening they had managed to fix. The last 24 hours the only elevator did not work. I was un the 7th floor..... good thing I am in OK shape.

The reception staff were not very friendly, my shower stopped working properly It would be nice if tea and coffee facilities were in the bedrooms I would not stay here again
