The hotel is definitely a more affordable option compared to other hotels and areas, but being just a quick walk across the river from the old town, this was a much quieter and relaxed option to the overly busy old town area. I’ve never stayed in a hotel quite like this, the downstairs is beautiful, old wood panelling, bookcase full of books, a tree and check in desk with a complimentary welcome Prosecco.
The room was huge- with a reception room leading to a large bedroom and large bathroom. All very well furnished, exceptionally clean and ‘grand’.
Breakfast was good, much better than I had anticipated. And was free! You can also eat in the library room in the front which was much more relaxing than eating in the usual dining area. I’d happily stay here again if I go back to Prague by myself.
