I love how friendly the staff were as soon as you come in and check in. I also love how fluent they were in English as well. The breakfast was delicious and flavorful and love the staff and how affectionately cheerful they are to help start your day. The feel of the hotel makes it feel like you are staying in an apartment like a local. It may seem hidden but it is close by every thing.

Center to most attractions in Madrid - we walked to Puerta del Sol where Kilometer zero and the famous bear/tree is, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, Chocolateria San Gines (must try, very yummy), Royal Palace of Madrid, Almudena Cathedral. We also walked to Palacio de Cibeles, and El Retiro Park. Nearby also are branded stores like Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Dior, etc which you could passby on the way to Puerta del Sol. Lot of restaurants nearby, there's a coffee place next door. Our room was in the corner room with balcony/nice view. It was spacious considering Europe is known for small hotel rooms. It has an elevator for those heavy luggages. Since the hotel is near where the actions are, you could hear people outside. But it didn't bother us, we were so tired walking all day. There's grocery stores nearby for water & other supplies. Highly Recommend!

The location is perfect! Breakfast was good. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Sofabeds could use a little update, the springs hurt the back and the air conditioners are very loud. Otherwise no complaints! Price point was very reasonable.

The hotel location and staff is excellent. One big issue I had was there is a huge reverberating noise when someone flushes in the room next to or above us. It kept happening and I simply couldn’t sleep in the night .

As a family that appreciates history, culture and design, we selected this hotel for its unique thematic approach but also for its central location. But the experience exceeded our expectations. although the hotel is modest, its ambiance is unique. We totally enjoyed the theatrical room experience; but discovering a rooftop terrace for our sunset with views of the city rooftops as well as life below on the streets-was priceless. Breakfast was fresh and healthy, and service was exceptional. We re-booked our next visit already ;)

Excelente trato del personal, fueron muy amables y serviciales. El hotel muy céntrico de todo y en adición muy limpio. La única queja fue que el aire acondicionado no estaba funcionando en perfectas condiciones. Pero, por lo demás todo bien.
Lo recomiendo a otras personas.

It was a really good stay. The hotel is at walking distance from all the places you’d want to see in Madrid Center. The staff was friendly, especially the breakfast girl with great energy and attitude and Pilar.
