Fantastique Staff: very friendly. They are very responsive to my questions. I managed to ask for pick up service just several hours before my arrival. They are able to entertain my request.
At the property, staff is very friendly. I feel at home.
Location: the onsen hotel is near utsumi station. There is a free pick up service from the station.
A wonderful sea view from the room. Can walk along the coast anytime.
There are a lot of restaurants nearby. But we chose to dine in at the hotel.
Cleanliness and size : clean and spacious. The hotel probably spends a lot of money on the maintenance.
The hotel looks very grand but at the same time looks very ‘japanese’. I have been to many onsen hotels and I would say this one is the best at this reasonable price!
Highly recommended if you go to Nagoya

Was there mid week and it was very quiet so we had the run of all the onsen, all of them have great views. The staff were very friendly, food was great, a thoroughly enjoyable trip!

This place is amazing. Its proper ryokan with very high quality and service. It is away from downtown but worth taking time to get here. Food was delicious and probably best I had in Japan

Fantastique Sea view, superb service, fantastic dinner with fresh sashimi and seafood. One of the best service I received from checking in to checking out. Though Onsen was normal but quite exclusive. Rustic small town. Best for weekdays get away from stressful city life

Very relaxing stay at a seaside traditional ryokan. Service excellent, with English-speaking staff. Roof-top onsen is a unique feature overlooking the shipping lane for Nagoya. Both meals excellent. Very clean and quiet. Traditional Japanese room very spacious, futon beds very comfortable. Rock garden-like room entrances. Very little traffic in this area, easy access by car.

En dessous de la moyenne It’s out at nowhere. Picture looks good but actual.
Food just okay. Poor, if you consider price.
There is no non smoking room!!! All rooms has been smoked in. Lingering tobacco smell.
Staff are mostly SE Asian workers. Not very Japanese ryokan feeling.
Overall, you pay premium ryokans price for mediocre Japanese inn. Not Ryokan.
I can feel and see that property was all money making reason only. Don’t go if you are looking for authentic Japanese ryokan experience.

Fantastique Very nice hotel with a number of traditional Japanese baths. Room is very spacious and in good condition. The bedding is very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast are highly recommended, a wide variety of seafood was served. Staff at this ryokan are all very kind and polite. highly recommend!
