I couldn't fault the room, great aircon easy to adjust and control I instructed housekeeping exactly how i wanted the bed made they did it the same every day of my 14 day stay. Breakfast buffet exceptional. I stay in lots of hotels I salute Lao Plaza.

Air conditioning in the room wouldn’t cool below 24 degrees. Spoke to reception and nothing spoke to them the following day and nothing spoke to them again and nothing then spoke to a manger and nothing. She just said you’re on the sunny side of the hotel. Okay well why won’t it cool down at 4am when there is no sun??. At one point the water in the basin was actually running brown. Not a god place the staff just do not care at all.

I can’t compliment this place enough. I rarely give 5 starts for anything but this hotel has won me over. The staff are friendly, the room and amenities are excellent, the desk staff are super helpful, and the hotel breakfast is actually a good deal.
