I have had the great pleasure of staying at COMO Metropolitan Bangkok since 2006, shortly after the hotel first opened, and I have been returning ever since.
There are many reasons this property continues to stand out for me, and every time I try to put them into a review, I find myself running out of space — which says a lot.
What has always impressed me most is the consistency. Year after year, visit after visit, COMO Metropolitan Bangkok has never disappointed. The hotel continues to deliver on every level: thoughtful management, excellent value, beautiful contemporary design, seamless check-in and check-out, and a genuine sense of pride in the upkeep and presentation of the property.
Even after its most recent remodel, the hotel has retained what has always made it special: clean architectural lines, understated elegance, and a calm, refined atmosphere in the heart of Bangkok. COMO has always understood contemporary design, but design alone is not what makes a hotel memorable. It is the people.
The management team deserves tremendous credit for continuing to hire and retain such devoted, cheerful, and highly professional staff. Their hospitality is impeccable — warm without being forced, efficient without feeling rushed, and always sincere.
For me, COMO Metropolitan Bangkok remains one of those rare hotels where value, design, service, and consistency all meet beautifully. After so many years of returning, I still look forward to each stay.
