It’s always a great stay at the Staybridge. We get a great welcome and as we’re relatively frequent visitors, we are recognised. The property is close to the metro so travelling from there to Tynemouth is easy. Close to the river for lovely walks.

This hotel may seriously be the best I've ever stayed in! We stayed in room 605 and the room was quiet & spacious, the bed & bedlinen fantastic, the view of the Tyne amazing, the blackout curtains extremely effective, the fridge quiet, the teas & cafetiere wonderful, and the ensuite and toiletries really great!
The staff here couldn't do enough for us, both in providing everything we asked about the hotel and answering our questions about Newcastle, and the variety of seating areas inside and outside by the well-kept lawns was impressive. The breakfasts included a broad range of both cooked and continental food, fruit, and drinks, with coffee freshly made from a barista machine. Parking was easy, & plenty of it, and it's close to the Quayside area & Millennium bridge. You really couldn't ask for a better place!

We had a great stay , staff were amazing, very helpful especially when I had a wardrobe malfunction and helped me with safety pins even in the correct colour of my outfit (black) . Room was perfect had everything we needed , breakfast was great ,definitely we will be back

Good sized clean room. Nice breakfast with hot and cold food. Loved the 1hr 6:30-7:30pm free nibbles and drinks sessions. Parking was easy on site. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel has a spare, modern and utilitarian vibe. Our room was well-appointed. It is located downtown within walking distance of the quay. It was a bit of a challenge after leaving the hotel, as the roads can be fairly confusing for folks not familiar with the area.

Fantastique We stayed at Staybridge Suites in 2025. We liked the hotel
enough to return for a stay this year. The staff actually remember us from 2025. If I/we return to Newcastle, Staybridge Suites will be our first choice for a hotel.
