I had a fantastic stay here. The location is right on the riviera and is incredibly useful to get to some of the best areas in Porto if you want to see the river and the cathedral, or get to Jardim do Morro for sunset (and you really should!). The hotel was incredibly clean and comfortable, with absolutely 10/10 staff who went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay (shout outs to Mara, Julia and Tarik for all your help). Breakfast was a great selection and they even packed me a breakfast to take away one day as I had to leave extra early for a tour. I only had a few small issues with the place (and please consider that this is minor): my room was on the first floor, which considering I booked a Superia Room, I would have preferred to be higher up from the street noise. House keeping insisted on changing my sheets every night - which feels unnecessary and bad for the environment (I’d be happy for them to just tidy up and clean without needing to change my sheets until I left). Also there was no bath robes as advertised. But as I say these really tiny critical… overall I had an absolutely fantastic stay and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto. I’d certainly come again.

Small quaint boutique hotel tucked away in a more touristy area. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with fresh fruit, freshly made eggs your style. Room was well appointed and clean. We were on the fourth floor with cool skylights in bathroom and bedroom. Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Location was convenient and within walking distance of many city sites and places to eat.

Only stayed one night- a little noisy facing the street as music from restaurants. Too. Was very spacious clean and good coffee/ water etc

Great small boutique hotel , excellent location , only fews steps to the river , spacious nice room , well maintained property . Frond desk very helpful . Tarirk , one of the receptionist very nice cheerful and polite .

Beautiful boutique hotel tucked away, 2 minutes walk from the river. Front desk staff were amazing, professional and friendly - always willing to answer questions and offer advice to make our trip more special. Breakfast was fabulous and quiet. Great selection of both continental and hot foods and the fresh omelettes were so tasty!! A lovely way to start the day! Location perfect for exploring the entire city. Also close (less than 5 minutes walk) to a small supermarket for bottled water. Second floor room was quiet, large, comfortable and super clean with great amenities. We received a beautiful personalized note and small gift in acknowledgment of our 20th wedding anniversary. Thank you to the team at Descobertas, we are grateful we chose such a fabulous hotel!!

Very well situated hotel, good restaurant near by. Staff friendly and helpful if you have questions. Lovely selection for breakfast, could do with a jug of cold milk though for cereal instead ofveach morning having to ask for it. One young female member of reception gets a very confused though as when giving room number items requested got delivered to another room even though checked room no. 4 times and we never received the request and transfer for going to airport was booked at incorrect time by same member of reception, turned up way too early for us and woke us up! Was re arrange for correct time though later that day. I would go back to this hotel if I come back to Porto in the future

No soundproofing in rooms. The outside was very loud at night.

Highly recommend this hotel. Excellent location. The staff is super friendly and professional, beds are comfortable. This was the second time we stayed here.

Excellent location, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

This is a very old building that has been completely rebuilt inside and provides practical, modern spaces throughout. We had a large, modern bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, bidet and ample room. The bedroom was also very adequate in size. We did not intend to eat breakfast here, but we checked out the buffet (€12/person) and ate there both days of our stay. Good selection and preparation. Staff members were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Great location just half a block off the popular riverfront.
