Fantastique Motel was clean with all the cooking facilities. Location was great as it was close to Te Wānanga o Aotearoa where I study form.

The water pressure in the shower was very low and shower therefore not enjoyable. The unit was not very clean eg you could write your name in the dust on top of the microwave. In saying that, the reception staff were lovely and we had a fun stay in Palmerston North

The space offered value for money and the room was what we needed. It was quite dated and old. The only real downside was the couch - it was very uncomfortable and there was a sign that said if we tried to pull it out (sleeper couch) we would be charged $500 which we found strange.

Fantastique All good, can't complain about much. They had enough off street parking for our 4 cars and a trailer. Units were warm and clean.

Room was okay but needs maintenance. Bathroom was sub-standard. Shelf coming off the wall and no towel rails.

Owners were very nice. There is a wonderful bike trail one block away that connects to the Wamatu Gorge area. In the warmer months there are eels in the river and streams. Electric charging is about 5 blocks away and is fast.
