I had booked a Single King and when I showed up they only had a Double Queen Room. Yes I was asked if this was okay and I agreed but realistically what other option did I have? Its that or no room and I can’t just go back home, Im on vacation? I was told the room would be bigger because of the two beds but online its the same square footage, arguably more crowded because the extra bed leaves less room to walk around a sitting area with a table. I get into the room and the two beds are separated by a wall and the TV is in between this wall and the two beds so watching TV was out of the question because it was annoyingly placed. I was going to spend Friday night in before my weekend and the power went out (I know this isn’t their fault) but it was just a bad start to my vacation. I have a queen bed at home, thats why I thought it would be nice to have a King but honestly the layout of the two Queens just wasn’t enjoyable for 1. The man dealing with the power outage was a lot nicer and more apologetic than the front desk staff when telling me they didn’t have the room I booked. The property is beautiful, though. The bed itself was comfortable but just overall, disappointing given that it wasn’t what I had booked.

Overall, the experience was good. The facility was clean and had a lot more charm than newer, sterile hotels. We experienced a power outage that lasted for a few hours but was eventually corrected. We thought our luggage was going to be brought up to our room, but after 45 minutes, we went back to the lobby to find our luggage exactly where we left it. We brought it up ourselves. Other than that, a good stay.

The character of this hotel made you smile from the second you walked into the door. The staff was very sweet and helpful. We can’t wait to stay here again.

The Staff is always super helpful. I end up getting called to work and leaving late. They allow me to check-in late and make it so smooth! Half the time, I'm half asleep trying to check-in. I always appreciate it!!!

We really loved this hotel! The bed was comfortable, though the pillows weren't very supportive. I was glad I had brought my own pillow. The room is plenty spacious--there was a comfy loveseat, coffee table, desk and desk chair. The mini fridge was far enough away from the sleeping area and in its own cubby that I couldn't hear it when I was sleeping. I really hate when the mini fridge is right in front of the bed and it's so loud that it wakes me up when it goes off and on. I loved the decor of the hotel too. It was conveniently located near the freeway but we were on the street side of the building so we never heard freeway traffic. The street side wasn't too noisy either. It is near several food places--very walkable, and across the street from Costco. Great location! If I am ever in the area, I will definitely come back to this hotel.

Not as expected
