The property is absolutely beautiful ! We loved the view from the room , it is also incredible.
Ma at the dive shop was an angel ! She took the time to greet us and asked the dive instructors to take care of my mom who has knee issues. The instructors on our scuba dive Masi and Su did an incredible job taking us to the best dive spots.
The butler service with evening drinks was a lively addition, the staff was so kind.
We loved the bula man who lights the torches every night! So special.
On the other hand, the public bathrooms were pretty disgusting on the property. I feel like some staff tries to upsell on drinks at some restaurants. The air conditioning leaked all over the floor. We all got food poisoning, maybe from the buffet where everyone was touching the same tongs , some little kids were even eating from the tongs used to serve the food ! This is the first time we have ever gotten sick in Fiji over years of staying at different hotels.
I definitely think there needs to be better hygiene and disinfectant at the buffets. We drank the tap water and we all also got very ill after. Children need to be looked at after better and not serve themselves at buffet.
The coffee tasted really bad, definitely needs to be better.
To end on a positive note, our stay was overall good and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. We already miss the sunsets and the fun activities. The slide at the pool was so fun. The staff is gracious and genuinely kind and helpful. Vinaka !!
