Room keys didn’t work, our fridge was broken, when we arrived the bell desk man was not friendly at all or welcoming. My first dinner at covewood my chicken was so dry and I ate none of it but was still billed for it. I watched someone drive through and take out the gate in the parking lot and 6 cops showed up and no info given when called the front desk to see if we were safe. Bottles of water $8 each is excessive and there should be a microwave in the room.

It was a fabulous stay! Definitely recommend for families especially with littles. My 2 year old enjoyed her stay and so did I!!

One of the most amazing places I’ve been

We checked into our room on Friday night and the room was freezing. During the night the floor next to the bed because wet. Both issues were told to the front desk on Saturday. We came back and both issues were not addresses. We again made a complaint on Sunday morning and still the issues were never addressed. So after three nights we were freezing and the floor was wet. Not acceptable.

Everything about the resort didn’t meet my expectations. They EXCEEDED my expectations!!!! From the food, amenities, people etc everything was great. I’d definitely recommend this resort to anyone who’s looking to visit San Diego

Mission Bay Hotel/Resort is a very nice facility. Our room was large and comfortable for my husband and his rolling walker. Very nice tile floors. Large TV. Parking was close to the room. It was a little tricky getting from our building to the restaurant...but we just drove over. I noticed the windows into the courtyard from the hallway were open. My only issue is there was a mosquito in our room. It was probably more hotel than we needed for one night, but it was very convenient to my relatives. And I appreciate we were able to book a single night.

I liked our room in the tower. But the pool closes too early

The property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. I did not like all of the fees that were added on when we arrived that were not noted on Expedia. There was $150 per night resort fee and to have a microwave in your room it cost extra.

Great place

First off , for the price this resort is very OUTDATED . Not worth it in my opinion . Our stay was not as expected. They let guest bring outside guest 20+ into the pool area knowing space is limited which caused myself and other guest who are paying for the amenities unable to use said amenities. Not just that , the front desk staff we spoke to at check in and the day after acted very bothered . Not just that communication clearly is an issue at this resort no one knew correct times for certain things happening on property . Also prior to checkout housekeeping manager it looked like walked into our room . At about 10am with the do not disturb sign , no knock , no prior notice stating housekeeping . My kids were changing & I was in the bathroom it was ridiculous! The “coffee” shop on property looked dirty . The stay as a whole was filled with inconveniences sadly . Especially it being a holiday weekend . I don’t recommend this resort try a different one on the bay . We’ve stayed at many & sadly this one was a waste of money .
