I booked this hotel through Expedia, and the reservation process was quick and easy.
Before my arrival, I tried contacting the hotel to arrange airport transportation, but I never received a response.
During my stay, I experienced a very concerning incident. After taking a nap, I was awakened by someone knocking on my door. I asked who it was, but no one responded. Moments later, I heard someone attempting to open my room door. Thankfully, I had the deadbolt engaged. I screamed and asked again who was at the door, and the person immediately closed the door and walked away without saying anything.
I called the front desk to report the incident. I was told they would investigate and update me. When I checked out, I brought it up again, and the front desk staff assured me that management would follow up with me by email. Unfortunately, I never received any update.
The hotel itself is nice and in a great location, which I appreciated. However, communication with guests needs significant improvement. Not responding to inquiries before arrival and failing to follow up after a serious security concern left me disappointed. I hope the hotel takes guest safety and communication more seriously in the future.
