There should be a window curtain in the bathroom to protect privacy.

.This place was just okay. The room itself was fine, but when we arrived the heating was on full and it was unbearably hot. The window only opens a tiny amount, so there was no way to cool it down properly. We asked for the heating to be turned off, and the staff member did do that, but the radiator still seemed to be on — just slightly less hot. Because of this, we couldn’t sleep.
In the morning, there was nothing left for breakfast, so we had to go elsewhere. It also seemed like there was only one member of staff, as we didn’t see anyone else at all — just one poor guy trying to do everything

Staff were kind and helpful, and location is great. Room was perfectly serviceable for a night, although sloping roof meant it was impossible to stand in the bathtub. Stayed in early May and it was very hot and stuffy in the room, with only a tiny fan that didn't work very well - no aircon, but that's just how it goes with historic buildings, so can't really complain! Continental breakfast selection was small - if it was a paid extra it would be quite disappointing, but considering it was included in the price of the room then it was okay.
