Overall, our stay was much better than expected (or at least other reviews indicated). The hostess and her husband were extremely accommodating and beyond hospitable. We were a bit confused upon check-in, but we soon discovered that the owners live next door to the lobby. They even welcomed us three hours before check-in as well which was extremely kind and provided us transportation to a restaurant and a market free of charge. And, likely what most people are looking for in this remote area, is the close proximity to Rassada Pier. We paid a small fee to the hostess to get a ride in the morning.
The room was spacious and very clean. We didn't have hot water, though, but after staying in Asian counties a plethora of times before, we weren't that surprised. Plus, the hot weather outside balanced it out nicely. The air conditioning unit in the room was also extremely effective and combatted both heat and humidity the whole night.
I would definitely recommend staying here. The customer service was spectacular!
