We booked a motel room through Hotels.com.
The property is nice with a cute gift shop, spacious restaurant, decent sized pool, and two indoor hot tubs.
It's in a great location, walking distance to the whole town, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The room was perfectly serviceable with a large window-unit style A/C that kept the room cool and comfortable even though it was 95 degrees outside.
The room was pretty spartan with a bed, nightstands, desk and two chairs, and small sliding door closet. The bathroom was the same with a standard shower. A small dressing area between the bedroom and bath. Bonus points for mini fridge and coffee maker.
While I would say the room would benefit from a few upgrades/remodels, the bed was very comfortable and we got a good night's sleep during our entire stay.
The breakfast buffet open at 6:30 which was great for early starts to days exploring Yellowstone.
If I come back I'd make it a point to stay in the lodge for a slightly shorter walk to the restaurant, pool and ice machine, as well as what looks like much newer construction based on pictures.

More a motel style. Location to Yellowstone and Breakfast were good. Need lots of updating. Air Conditioning is window and in bathroom area, doesn't hit room well. Smallest toilet ever, need to upgrade for sure. Carpet needs replacing, smells moldy.

My husband and I spent one night at this hotel. We could tell it that it had been refurbished, but it was very clean and very rustic inside. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the room. We did walk over to their lounge for happy hour and everyone at the lounge and the restaurant were very nice and personable especially Isaac the bartender. We loved the one night that we stayed in West Yellowstone and would love to come back and stay at this hotel again.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, lots of choices and fresh foods to choose from. The room was very clean and updated. Very cute place. We had no problems. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Provided Vouchers for an excellent hot buffet breakfast and adjacent restaurant. Room was clean but parking was tight and challenging. Overall hotel was nice but surrounding town was kind of dirty and sketchy.

Three Bear Lodge was the perfect base for our Yellowstone trip. Located just minutes from the West Entrance, we were in the park within no time each morning — a huge advantage when you're trying to beat the crowds. The hot breakfast buffet was excellent, a proper start to long days in the park. Rooms were clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for families visiting Yellowstone.
