The property, staff, and room were all really nice, however, the food at restaurants was expensive and not good.

BienSéjour en famille · Pour les amis et la famille
The property itself is beautiful and the setting on Seragaki Island is stunning. The rooms were comfortable, the grounds were well maintained, and the views were excellent. There is no question that the hotel is visually impressive.
Unfortunately, the guest experience did not match the quality of the property. Throughout our stay, it often felt like staff were constantly watching guests and looking for opportunities to correct behavior rather than focusing on hospitality. Several interactions left us feeling more policed than welcomed. Whether it was small rules, minor issues, or things that could have been handled more casually, staff seemed quick to step in and correct us. Instead of feeling relaxed on vacation, we often felt like we were being monitored.
Another major frustration was the hotel’s lack of clarity regarding its child age policy. We were surprised to be charged an additional fee of approximately $600 because our 13-year-old daughter was considered an adult. This was not made sufficiently clear during the booking process, and the unexpected charge left a very negative impression. Many hotels consider children of that age differently, so clearer communication upfront would help guests avoid unpleasant surprises at check-in.
While the property itself is gorgeous, the combination of excessive rule enforcement and unexpected fees significantly detracted from our stay. We left feeling that guest comfort and hospitality were secondary to policy enforcement. For th

Fantastique We were there during Typhoon Jangmi. The resort did a wonderful job of upkeep drumming the storm, and cleaning up after it. Good food. Good drink. Lovely facility.

SuperSéjour en famille avec enfants
We stayed a couple of years ago and was impressed that this has become a regular stay on our future visits. Staff was as friendly and receptive as the past and one of the things that stood out. Breakfast buffet was as good as we remembered, but price is now on the upper end and challenges value now. There is not much things to do, or eat nearby, you just about have to drive everywhere, Nago being the closest large city with everything you need. Onna is closer but limited in what it offers. Pricing, fees, and taxes have now crept into hotel charges, but I think this is everywhere. Still a no tipping culture, but hotels now have 15% service charges included. Staff is still what continues to stand out.
